PrimeProfit.app – Web3 Wallet Connection with Bybit Wallet
PrimeProfit’s WalletConnect feature provides users with a Web3-based way to connect and verify a supported cryptocurrency wallet with their PrimeProfit account.
For users accessing PrimeProfit through a desktop browser, the connection can be completed using the Bybit Web3 Wallet browser extension, where supported.
The purpose of the connection is straightforward: it allows PrimeProfit.app to associate a user’s external Web3 wallet with their PrimeProfit account so that, where supported, the wallet can be used for blockchain verification and withdrawal-related operations.
What Does Wallet Verification Mean on PrimeProfit?
Wallet verification establishes a Web3 connection between:
Your PrimeProfit Account
↓
PrimeProfit WalletConnect
↓
Your Bybit Web3 Wallet Extension
↓
Your Connected Blockchain Address
Once the connection is successfully established and the wallet address is recognized by PrimeProfit, the connected address can be associated with the user’s PrimeProfit account.
For example:
Connected Wallet
0x1234...ABCD
The displayed address identifies the blockchain wallet connected during the verification process.
Why Is Wallet Verification Important?
A cryptocurrency withdrawal ultimately needs a blockchain destination address.
Connecting a Web3 wallet provides a way for PrimeProfit to establish that the user has successfully connected an external wallet through a Web3 wallet session.
The wallet connection can therefore function as an account-level wallet verification step.
Where PrimeProfit supports manually specified withdrawal destinations, completing wallet verification does not necessarily mean that every future withdrawal must be sent to the originally connected address.
The withdrawal interface may allow the user to enter a separate supported external wallet address when submitting a withdrawal request.
Connecting Bybit Web3 Wallet to PrimeProfit
1. Open PrimeProfit
Sign in to your PrimeProfit account and navigate to the Wallet, Withdrawal, or applicable wallet-verification section.
2. Select Connect Wallet
Click Connect Wallet to begin the Web3 wallet connection process.
3. Select WalletConnect
Choose WalletConnect from the available connection methods.
4. Select Bybit Web3 Wallet
If the Bybit Web3 Wallet extension is available in your browser, select the applicable Bybit wallet connection option.
The Bybit Web3 Wallet extension should be installed and unlocked in the browser before starting the connection.
5. Review the Connection Request
The Bybit Web3 Wallet extension will display the connection request.
Review the website/application requesting access and the wallet information presented by the extension.
6. Approve the Connection
If the information is correct, approve the connection through the Bybit Web3 Wallet extension.
The connection establishes a Web3 communication session between PrimeProfit and the wallet. Connecting a wallet is different from authorizing a blockchain transaction; a transaction should only be approved after carefully reviewing the transaction details displayed by the wallet.
7. Confirm the Connected Address
After the connection is successfully established, PrimeProfit can receive the public wallet address associated with the connected wallet session.
For example:
0x1234...ABCD
The public address can then be used by PrimeProfit as part of its applicable wallet-verification process.
What Happens After Verification?
Once the Bybit Web3 Wallet has successfully connected and the applicable verification requirements have been completed, the user’s PrimeProfit account can show the wallet connection as verified.
The connected wallet serves as the wallet used during the Web3 verification process.
Wallet verification and the final withdrawal destination can be separate steps where PrimeProfit supports external withdrawal addresses.
For example:
Connect Bybit Web3 Wallet
↓
Approve the Web3 Connection
↓
Confirm Wallet Address
↓
Complete Wallet Verification
↓
Open Withdrawal
↓
Enter a Supported External Wallet Address
↓
Review Withdrawal Details
↓
Submit Withdrawal Request
This allows the connected Bybit Web3 Wallet to be used for the verification process while a supported external blockchain address can be entered separately during the withdrawal process, if that functionality is enabled by PrimeProfit.
Example
Suppose you complete wallet verification using your Bybit Web3 Wallet.
The connected wallet displays:
0x1234...ABCD
After verification, you later open the PrimeProfit withdrawal page.
You may enter another supported address:
0x9876...WXYZ
The distinction is:
Web3 Wallet Connection
→ Establishes the wallet session.
Wallet Verification
→ Confirms the required wallet-connection process.
Withdrawal Address
→ Specifies where the requested withdrawal should be sent.
These functions should not be treated as automatically identical unless PrimeProfit specifically requires the verified wallet address to be used as the withdrawal destination.
Bybit Web3 Wallet and Transaction Authorization
Connecting the Bybit Web3 Wallet does not by itself mean that a blockchain transaction has been authorized.
A wallet connection allows the website and wallet to establish a Web3 session.
If a blockchain transaction or signature request is subsequently presented, the wallet should display the relevant request for the user to review.
Users should independently verify:
- The blockchain network
- The destination address
- The transaction amount
- Any network/gas fee
- The transaction or signature request
- The website requesting the authorization
Only approve a transaction or signature when you understand what the wallet is requesting.
